About The Rock Inn

1937

We are located at the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Built in 1937 as a sandwich shop and expanded in 1943 to include a dance hall, The Rock Inn has a rich history of being a community hub. Our staff come from all over to be a part of our community by providing excellent service, menu knowledge, and adventure recommendations for the area.

During the coldest months our two wood-burning stoves keep the restaurant cozy, warm, and ready for your winter dining experience. During the warmer months we have an outdoor patio with available seating for dining, a cocktail area with a stone fire pit, and incredible views of the continental divide.

Our menu is an ever-evolving blend of hand-crafted, hearty comfort food with a focus on health and sustainability. We use Gold Canyon Natural Gourmet Angus Beef, all-natural Colorado chicken, fresh salads, whole grains, organic teas and coffees, local beers, sustainably produced wines, and have a full bar.

We also feature live music most nights of the week, showcasing local talent like Jon Pickett, Alex Thoele, Geoff Clark, Christine Alice, Daniel "Song Sourcerer" Prouse, Greg Miles, Carter Sampson, Jason Hicks, Parker Sibley Jazz Trio, and the Random and True Duo. We invite you to take a load off and ease on in to enjoy the local talent and atmosphere at The Rock Inn.
